How/where do i get 3.0os at?

where do i get 3.0 os at? do i just plug in my 3g iphone and click upgrade? i want to be able to copy and paste. also i read that it will let you send pictures thru mms. is this true?

Yes it will support MMS for the 3G and later iPhones, it isn't out yet. Maybe Monday after WWDC keynote.

why do i see some people with 3.0 os in the sigs?

I have 3.0 on my device. It is the beta version, currently it's beta 5. You must be a developer, or a beta tester for a developer to put the software on your device. The actual software is freely available on the torrent sites, but if you do not have your UDID registered with a developer, it will not activate and you will have a brick until either your UDID is registered or 3.0 goes live.
