Looks like a shopping basket lol.. or it mihgt be the symbol for i cant think of the name , for when deaf people use mobile phones..

Looks like TTY to me. You can turn it off in the General Settings under phone IIRC.

I know it's for disabled people and I'm pretty sure it's for the hearing impared, but I'm not 100% on the second part.

sweet thanks, but how does it do it on an iphone i dont understand, and i couldnt find anything in settings to turn it off or anything

The setting to turn it off is under settings> phone and you will see a TTY toggle.
