Vibrating keypad

I was wandering if when texting if there's an option to make the keypad vibrate when you press a key on thetouch pad

i knew there was once an app available (only through Jailbreaking your device) called Vibrus.. There may be more out today.

I don't want to have to jailbreak my phone I read something about downloading mobile enhancer but I think that only works on the 1st gen iPhone right? Anybody else know of a way to get a vibrating keypad for my 3G?

Have you done a search in the app store?

There is only one I came across and it's an email vibrating keyboard. That's it. I am on the UK iTunes store so it might differ from yours.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't- because its in the app store, its obviously been tested and approved by apple.

It's just their approvlal is really bad so maybe they aren't testing the app at all? Or much anyway. Also if my iPhone malfunctions because of an app store app is that covered?

I understand your questioning, but... apple stop stupid/bad/apps that apple don't approve of- they usually turn up on cydia anyway.

It's frustrating i know, especially to see apps rejected which could cater to your everyday needs. I wouldn't not trust apple's approval- it's a bit of a silly comment to make. This thread it about a vibrating keyboard and you guys are getting a little deep into it. The phone vibrates.. and apple have obviously noted that this is going to use the built in vibrate more and it will deplete the battery more (stating the obvious). I see no disclaimer saying the use of this app voids your warranty.

So it's pretty much 'case closed' in my eyes.

Not so ridiculous. Consumers should think about what apps may do to their devices.

In this paricular case, I think your battery would get used much more quickly if you do a lot of textng/email with the vibrate on.
