I did not but my area has good 3G coverage already. Maybe text only went to customers in areas where coverage has improved?

I'm in the same boat as Lisa. I have great coverage basically everywhere I go here in Florida. There are a few desolate spots along the interstate where it drops to Edge but I don't stop there anyway, so it isn't much of an issue.

I got the newsletter as well, Tom. 3G really has improved a great deal in my area since I bought my 3G.

i travel a lot for my job and the only place i have found 3g coverage for AT&T to not be that great is in the Washington D.C. area.

I'm in suburban Maryland and the 3G coverage is very good.

I got this text also and I have to say its a lie. What improvements? still faster then edge but I still get fuzzy video downloads on my mlb app and crystal clear on wifi. So for me its blahhh

Interesting that they texted you about the improvement. When I got my 3G, there was NO 3G coverage in my town. Sometime between then and about two months ago, there's 3G everywhere. I found out completely by accident when I returned from a trip and had left my 3G toggle on.

Here in Cali 3G is basically everywhere; no need to worry :)

Um.. I'm in California. I've found plenty of places without 3G coverage, though it's getting much better.
