iphone 3.0 beta 5 messages can't even load my texts anymore

as of this morning, whenever I try to open messages, it just shows a blank message list for about 30 seconds, then goes back to my home screen, I've tried turning it off and on and resetting it about 50 times, I don't want to have to full on restore the iphone because that's a pain in the ass and I'll lose all my previous info from texts. Anyone have a similar problem/can tell me how to trouble shoot this?

Well, if a reboot doesn't fix it like you've indicated, the only other option I can think of is to restore from backup. Just restore normally and once your iPhone is back up and activated, iTunes will give you the option to restore from the last backup you created.

If you restore from back up, it will put back all your text messages.

Just sync again and see if they come back, but if that doesn't help restore from a back up like everyone else is saying.
