Battery Life

I recently updated my OS to OS 3.0 beta 5. Ever since, I have started having battery problem. Whenever I was the GPS, Safari, WiFi, even for a few minutes, I can see a good amount of battery going down.

Also, in OS 2.2.1, I used to get 2 battery low warnings, at 20% and at 10 %. I no longer get the 10% warning.

For me, battery life on 3.0 beta 5 seems pretty comparable to battery life on 2.2.1. I recently rolled back to 2.2.1 and paid particular attention to battery life so I'd be able to compare later.

Some people are speculating it's because of the push notification testing? I read it in one of the comments in an iPhone related blog. I'll try and pull up a link and post it if Im allowed.
