Griffin Clarifi stuck on Iphone...help

It is on my 3G and it will not seperate to come off....Is there some kind of trick? I want to take it off the clean up the phone and it just will not break away! I have tried just about everything.

There's no trick. I have the same case. Have you tried prying away the sides a little bit on the longer section of the case?
