iPhone 3G unlocked now locked, please HELP!

I bought an unlocked iPhone with the Gevey-3G sim. Everything was fine until I did the DUMBEST thing by upgrading to firmware 2.2.1. Now, the phone still recognizes my carrier "T-Mobile" but I can only make emergency calls. What can I do now? I'm so upset with myself and totally lost. Stupid stupid...

I'm surprised nobody has answered you yet on this. I'll try to help - I believe you'll have to re-jailbreak/unlock after downgrading your iPhone back to OS2.2. There was apparently enough of a difference with 2.2.1 to prevent the jailbreak/unlock process. So you'll probably have to look at it as 2 issues - first, downgrading the iPhone OS to 2.2, then second, re-jb/unlock.
Sorry can't help more, but there are lots of posts on this forum about jailbreaking/unlocking and I'm sure there'll be some discussions or posts or notes that'll resolve your problem.
