I just got an iPhone, but I noticed that there isnt an app to be able to send sms from my laptop!:gasp:

I've already got PDAnet on my phone to be able to use the iPhone's internet connection, but does anyone know of one to send SMS through my iPhone from my laptop?

Thanks,

Jacqui :laugh2:

The only thing I've done that works is using my Yahoo account to send SMS.

I used to use SMSgee to send SMS with my LG KU990, which worked very well, but because there's no COM port, I wasn't able to still do it :frown:

You can do it through ATT's website. Just log in and there's a thing that says send texts messages or something like that.

I use MMS lite, it's free, also Photomailer which can send 5 photos at once, I think it costs a couple of dollars I can't remember.

If your Jailbroken..

Install Veency- through Cydia

Download a program similar to Chicken of the VNC on your mac/pc and you can connect the iphone to your mac/pc. Your screen then pops up in a window. It's actually quite smart.

You can leave your phone downstairs and text away via your iphone but through your laptop/desktop

It's really easy to do. You have to be jailbroken though :)
