have problem sending e-mail

Are all of your settings correct/do you have signal etc...?

I have a i-phone 3g 16
I am able to receive e-mail--but I am unable to send same
I beleive my settings are correct
have outlook for e-mail and comcast as the service

Change your smtp server for your pop account to the at&t server.

Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>your account name>SMTP Turn on the at&t smtp server.

have you tried a reset on your network settings?

I think i have solved the problem

I think by changing the network to AT & T straighten the problem out
It took a bit of time to show up
