got through quickpwn followed all on screen instructions and got the error that my phone wasnt connected in the correct mode or the usb wasnt right and that it failed?

after oing a restore, itunes says that the phone has been previously synced, did I want to restore from back up or set up as a new iphone?

this was after doing a restore after getting error 13?

I give up, Ive had to restore like 4 times because it keeps throwing errors, the latest being 1013

Are you on a Mac or PC? Try using a new USB cord. Yes, DFU mode requires holding the home and power buttons for a certain amount of time.

actually really pissed that I lost all my contacts/ texts and photos


running on a PC, didnt think I had any issues following the DFU instructions

The contacts could have been backed up in iTunes with a Yahoo or Gmail acct before this process.
What do you mean by data count?

I didnt have anything set up, so there was no backup....


in usage, the cellular netork data sent and recieved fields were reset to 0 so I have nfi what useage so far is...
