What do you sync your phone with Mac/PC?

In the Pc I would back up contacts with another program
MS Address book for example.

The recommendation is to restore the phone as "new phone"
Instead of as the the iPhone already set up.

Tho if I do it again I will use the phone already set up so I won't lose anything.

I uninstalled every Cydia app before restoring phone.
Be sure you leave the carrior at default.

Your media (music, movies, apps, pics) will remain in your iTunes library and can be resync'ed after you restore as a new device. Restoring from back up is not recommended because it will leave traces of the jailbreak. Your contacts can be backed up in iTunes with a Google/Gmail acct or a Yahoo acct.

You'll lose your notes and SMS. You could save the files and restore them if your were jailbreaking again but it won't work on a stock phone.

Back your contacts up to whichever programme you use.

I really wouldn't worry about uninstalling all your cydia apps- as soon as you hit "Restore" the phone is wiped- a nice fresh FW is installed 2.2.1

Best advice is to simply, sync your contacts, and restore and set up a new phone.
