Changes through 1G-2G-3G

Can someone list the changes made throught the 3 generations of iPhones? I think but Im not sure, the only changes between 1G and 2G were 4gb and 8gb changed to 8gb and 16gb? Am I correct? Then what changes were made between 2G and 3G? Something in maps?

There is no 3rd generation iPhone as of yet. Only the original and the 3G. The main difference between those obviously being the 3G as you stated.

Cool thanks. I had always wondered what ALL the differences were. I always thought there were 3 different phones. I actually thought they made a second phone, but in all actuality, they just made a 16gb version of the original and discontinued the 4gb. Anyways, cool, thanks again!
