whats the best way to get into wanting start making apps? what code do i need to know?

I'm not a developer, but the programming language you'll need to know is Objective-C. There's a great article (http://www.tuaw.com/2008/09/25/dear-aunt-tuaw-how-do-i-get-started-programming-for-the-iphone/) over at TUAW by Erica Sadun, who is an iPhone programmer, on how to get started learning it.
