Sometimes when u lock your phone, and u have to slide to answer an incoming call, the call will not go through, every time. Im not sure what denotes whether or not you'll have to slide to answer or just press answer, but everytime I have to slide, the call doesn't come through. The callers report that it never even rings on their end. Anyone else? /discuss

I just busted another bug. Playing my copy of domino, and the whole phone just locked up. No button response, no nothing. Had to to a hard reset to get it back.

Bump for great justice.

Anyone else seen this "slide to answer" bug?

UPDATE: Just tested calling from my office phone. Worked fine.
Let it ring several times the first test, did the "slide to answer", call worked fine.

Called a 2nd time, answered on the first ring, call worked fine.

I dunno....maybe it's something to do with ppl calling from other mobile phones. That seems to be the problem, so far.

It just did it again. Someone called, and it said slide to unlock, which I did. Nothing. Totally dead air. She called back, same thing again.

It's probably more of an issue with you not having a signal than it is the phone being in sleep mode.

See, i'd love to believe that, but it's always in great signal areas that this happens. Even in the worst areas for cellular signal in my city, I can still receive a call. It will still ring, and I can still answer it, it just may not sound great. This particular problem only happens if the phone is locked and I have to answer it. It's really driving me insane, honestly. It pretty much makes all incoming calls, an impossibility.

Just tested with my office phone, again. Worked fine, 2 calls in a row. WTF!?!?

I need to get someone to call me from a mobile phone, and try that.

When your phone is locked you have to slide to answer it. If your at the home screen then u can pushthe answer or decline button.

Yeah, i know.. I don't leave the phone unlocked, because the screen won't turn off, any other way. I always hit the lock button on top, to turn the screen off. Well, everytime someone calls, I have to slide to unlock. When I do, the call doesn't come through, and I have to call them back. I just hope Apple doesn't call when my phone is done being repaired. I hope they just send an email, or something.

No, my "original" iPhone is already being shipped to Apple, for a dead pixel problem.

Just did it again, this morning, 2 times in a row.
My friend from the Sprint network called, and i slid to answer the call, and it was a no-go. Called again, same thing. I had my friend on AT&T call me right after, no problem whatsoever. I dunno WTF is goin' on, but it's pissing me off...

Have you tried a reset? Push and hold home and sleep buttons for 8 secs.

Yup, several times, actually. It still does it. I need to get a couple ppl to help me, that have different service providers. Maybe it has something to do with network interoperability.
Actually, now that I think about it, I first noticed the problem, after an (AT&T) friend called me..... first 2 calls didn't go through on my side, he said his side didn't ring at all.......hmm.....
