App Sync Issues [Archive]

I bought an app last month on iTunes in my PC and still having some trouble transfering it to my 1G iPod Touch 32G. Is there any other way to sync it manually with another program besides iTunes?

Is it safe to Jailbreake my iPod Touch? I mean, is there a chance to be detected by Apple and block it?
