Replacement screen

I broke my screen around 7 months ago. Im going to try to fix it myself. They have some cheap ones on Ebay that cost 100 dollars else where. I no i cant just fix it with the 8 dollar glass. or do i need the lcd screen also?

nevermind its to expensive. Plus with a new one coming out soon its not worth it. And the installing looks to hard. My tiny crack in the corner can wait another 2-3 months.
