View Full Version : Can iphone sync wirelessly with Outlook 2007?
I am currently on Verizon using a Palm Treo 700p which syncs wirelessly with my Outlook 2007 via Verizon's Wireless Sync program.
I am unfamiliar with both Cingular and Apple products and was wondering if I could also wireless sync with my Outlook via a remote location from the iPhone?
Thank you in advance.

With all the new microsoft software, the iphone is most likely going to sync up. Since it is really just a ipod mixed with a blackberry.
Have a good day.

You will probably need a bluetooth adaptor for your pc. Unless it hooks up via wifi. How else could it go wirelessly?

How else could it go wirelessly? With my current WM5 based phone I can sync directly with an Exchange server using Edge or WiFi. This allows me not only to sync my email folders but also my contacts, calendar and tasks. I think the OP was wondering if the iPhone would be able to do something similar.

Well as of now nothing of that nature has been announced.

I reneg my previous statement
Syncing feeling
When we first heard about iPhone’s Wi-Fi and Bluetooth innards our thoughts instantly turned to wireless syncing. Not so, says Apple. All synchronisation between iPhone and your desktop is done via cable. Apple’s Greg "Joz" Joswiak says that’s to guarantee reliability, and provides a valuable opportunity to top up the mobile’s battery. Keep your iPhone up to date, and it’ll take charging into its own hands, so you’ve always got enough juice for a call.
