WiFi Jitters

Recently I happened to at an airport which had free wifi service. I tried to connect my iphone to it and was able to do it successfully. However I was not able to surf the web using it. Edge is also enabled on the phone. Can someone tell me what can be the issue?

Yup, sometimes even though a Wifi zone doesnt have the lock symbol it doesnt mean its not protected. In the UK airports, BT have Wifi, that isnt protected, but when you try and use it, unless you have an Iphone contract or are subscribed it simply wont load... try another wifi spot. I would bet that its the Wifi zone's problem not yours!
