Apple Refurbs

I am looking at Apple refurbs. Stupid questions: What kind of box do they come in? I'm assuming not a regular box a new product would come in. Also, are the model numbers different on refurbs?

in my experience when they give you a replacement phone, they take it out of a small white box and hand it to you personally. i have not ever been given a box with one.


as far as the serial numbers, i am quite sure refurb iphones start with 5k for the serial numbers. i really see no difference in having a refurb or original, but some people get their panties in a wad over it.
