Are we allowed to post topics that are open for debate on any topic, except politics? I didn't see anything pertaining to this, but I know the subject of politics is highly forbidden around here.

I would say conspiracy theory is no problem. Label it as such and avoid overt political overtones, and you'll be fine.

just don't violate the secret rules or become "unwelcome" to the ones that consider themselves special and you should be fine.

Well, I'm not one to cause any problems when it comes to online forums. I enjoy this place a lot, the personalities around here are identical to mine with the amount of sarcasm that pops up. I've been a mod myself so I know how things go.
Thx 4 the info, I'll keep it in mind.

Its not a conspiracy, its just a field day for the media. Something for them to talk about. Remember Y2K?

Yes, I do. I didn't mean to discuss the topic in this thread, though.

How can you thread jack a thread about forum rules? You're Mr. Forum Rules these days. :laugh2:
Seriously, come on man... water under the bridge. Every time you bring this up your martyr complex diminishes your point. I promise we shall all try to be fair moderators and not persecute you if you just shut up about the rules for a while... deal?

why should i have to make a deal in order for the moderators to be fair? all i ask for is fair treatment and enforcement of the rules.

I agree. I think it's a real influenza strain that "jumped" species, just like Bird Flu. The annual flu vaccines provide protection from 3 strains. The CDC decides each year which strains (there are a lot) are most likely to cause outbreaks that year. They usually get it right, but sometimes they get it wrong. Either way, every year we still have thousands of Americans die from flu related complications. Some of them had the vaccination but most didn't. I think Swine Flu it's getting so much attention because it is a new strain that nobody has been vaccinated against, so it has the potential to cause a bigger outbreak than normal.

We need a good conspiracy thread, something to pass the time until 3.0 and the new iphone come out.

One dosent always need a vaccination to help defend from a virus/illness.
Our immune systems are alot better and more adaptive than scientists leave everyone to belive. All it takes is one time to catch, get sick let the body do its thing, then the virus/illness is kinda like saved in data storage. If u get sick again from the same thing the body doubles its protection.

love how things change topic instantly here, lol
Can a mod lock this? I think my question has been answered and any conspiracies can be debated in a new thread.
