Hi All,

I recently purchased a 1st gen iPhone, I previously had an iPod touch which was jailbroken.

I am now trying to jailbreak my iPhone, which has the 2.2.1 firmware. I have tried 2-3 times using quickpwn... each time I get to 9 seconds on the third stage.. iTunes interupts me saying that my iPhone is restarting in recovery mode, and the jailbreak is unsucessful.

Am I getting my timings wrong or is there a setting where I can disable the pop-up so that I am not interupted when starting in DFU mode?

Josh

Are you using the correct ipsw file? There is a 3G version and a 1st gen version, iirc.

I found my problem... I assumed that using the USB port on my iMac's keyboard would be considered a 'USB hub' instead I used a seperate hub and it worked fine. I now have a jailbroken iPhone :D

Thanks for your suggestion and help.

Josh
