Has anyone tried it yet....? Is it worth the upgrade Price? I have been using Swirly for awhile and have no issues with it. It's a great product.

But I really wanted feedback from anyone who tried the new version.

why anyone would pay for swirlymms right now is beyond me. you can get beta 3.0 that includes mms, and the regular 3.0 is being released in probably less than 2 months. not to mention the reviews and ease of use of swirly have been less than stellar. just hold off for a little bit until 3.0 comes out and you will have mms in all its glory.

Unless you have an original iPhone where mms will be disabled. At that point swirlymms will be your only option.

Is there a way to get the beta 3.0 for free? Because the $99 to join the dev group vs. the $8 for Swirly seems to be a lopsided win for Swirly.

Swirly 2.0 is 12 bucks, you can get 3.0 beta for free if a developer registers your udid with apple. Or just wait until the official version is released in the next couple of months.

Actually it's only 6, since I already have Version 1. I have been very impressed with Swirly. it has worked for me, since day 1. Long long before they ever announced the 3.0 addition of MMS. I'm all about supporting people who make a good product. That's why I asked if anyone had tried it, and did they like the new improvements.

I decided to go ahead and download the other day. I can't complain. The people who wrote Swirly did a very good job.

The update is another issue. Since you bought V1 for 8 bucks and paid (or will pay) 6 for the upgrade, that means you will have paid 14 bucks. Someone buy it now for the first time gets it cheaper than you. I also own a license for swirlyMMS v1, ,my comment about price was to the poster that asked and misquoted it at 8 bucks and it assumed he did not own a license since I assume V1 still works with 2.2.1, if you have a 3G seems silly to upgrade when 3.0 is only a couple months away.
