Okay, so I got my Otterbox case and holster in the mail today, and I am very disappointed. The case itself is fine, however the holster totally defeats the purpose. It is so loose, even with just walking through my house, the phone fell out of the holster. That was without even any major jarring. I contacted the company and they said that they had made them more loose because people had complained they were too tight. Now they said they are getting a lot of complaints the holsters are too loose. The representative said it could take months before they have any solutions to the problem. They told me that I could still use the case without the holster, but I told them what was the point. I really needed the holster to carry the phone around. They told me to send it back and they would refund my money, but not the shipping charges. Now, I am back to square one trying to find a case that will serve its purpose. Help!

Well, after reading several reviews I have decided to keep my otterbox case and wait for them to re-vamp the holsters. The case is so sturdy, and actually does not make the phone bulky at all. I have found that since the case comes with a plastic screen protector that the touch screen works much smoother with another screen guard under it. I use the power support anti-glare screen protector. I absolutely love the case though.

I was looking at those cases as well, and wasn't sure about buying it. Sounds pretty good though

Yeah, I definitley recommend the otterbox defender series for the iphone. The hard shell combined with the silicone skin makes the phone feel more sturdy, and there is no play or movement inside the case. Also, I love having the extra plastic screen guard. Like I said I am still disappointed about the holster, but I will make it work until they re-work things again. I am a very active person and feel much better having my phone protected from life's mishaps that can happen. Now, it does not mean if you drop a very heavy object on the screen it won't break, but that comes with some common sense. I think the otterbox is a very good choice.
