I think this is a good price (it's what I plan to ask for my 16GB 3G when I put it up for sale :D ) but I would suggest some patience - some people have had their iPhones up for sale here for weeks before selling them. Plus, most people here already have an iPhone...

Yea. I buy a lot of iPhones off of craigslist and resell them. I have at least 6 iPhones go thru me each month.

Dont worry I don't mind if you question me. I just prefer selling on forum sites because there is no fees.

I have their email via the paypal transaction so Im going to contact them that way to see if they are still legit...

I got ripped off on eBay last year when I sold my 2G iPhone. Someone hacked into the buyer's account. I was stupid too, but lesson learned. :frown:

There are plenty of ways. Most of the time you have to be clueless but it's possible. Back when eBay was new I purchased a set of ground effects for my camaro from eBay. He seller insisted on a western union transaction. I being young and stupid did so and never heard from him again. NOW they have the never western union warning on eBay.

Also ibwas selling a PS3 on eBay a while back. A member won the item and sent me a fake email. LOOKED LEGIT, but it said it was from paypal and that the buyer has paid for the item and the funds are on hold in my account and will be released to me when the item was confirmed as being shipped and the tracking info was sent to them.

I called pqypal and asked them if it was legit. They said no. That they never hold funds. So of course I didn't send it. I was later contacted by that buyer saying his account had been hacked. He apologised and his account was closed out. He had a good seller rating too.

i am far from a frequent seller on the internet, and i have had several transactions where the buyer informed me everything was good and all i was waiting for was payment to be sent. well guess what, payment was never sent. people fall through, back out, or just stop responding for who knows what reason, and when you are trying to make some cash, you take the first person with the cash. so don't knock this guy because someone bought it before you could. does it suck? yah it does, but he's not a bad seller or a bad person because of it. its how it works on the internet.
