What should I use to clean the glass trackpad on the new mac books'? Looks a little cloudy around the edges.

Isn't it made out of glass? You could probably use a glass cleaner on it.

doesn't feel like glass at all... probably more like plexiglass.

either way, glass cleaner should be fine in small quantities. do not apply the liquid to the computer directly. first spray on a cloth, and then wipe with the cloth.

We have monitor wipes (like these (http://www.amazon.com/Falcon-Exponent-DSCT-Computer-Monitor/dp/B00009ESKH)) at work that i use if i need heavy-duty grime cleaned off of electronics. They're saturated in a non-alcohol electronics-friendly solution. They work very well, and you should be able to find them at any store that sells computers. There is also a product called "iKlear" that is highly regarded in the Apple community... never tried it myself.

Thanks for all your help everyone. I think I might give the glass cleaner a try. The pad is not that dirty, I just want to get some control over it before its gets out of control. I don't my trackpad looking like the dirty white mac book I see around campus. Why did Apple make those?

Ugh I hate the dirty white macbooks. I hate a white one but lucky for me the case continually cracks every few months and I have apple care so I just take it in and the replace everything so it always looks nice and white.

I second the iKlear. I use it around the house for Apple stuff, and it works well. Glass cleaners might work as well, just whatever you use, test a small sample area first to make sure you're not going to damage the computer.
