I'm interested in buying one of the new macbook, but im really not sure which one to get. I'd really like to get the cheaper 2.0 one, but the backlit keyboard is really tempting. i really dont have much use for a bigger hard drive, 160GB is good enough for me. and a faster processor is a nice bonus, but also not completely necessary. i just dont know if the extra $300 is worth it

so for those who have the new macbooks, which would you recommend?
thanks!

I have the 2.4 and I like it so much better than the 2.0. A friend of mine bought the 2.0 and its hard for me to use it since im used to having the backlit keyboard.

yes, it sure is. Ive been playing with OS X for a little bit on my mini 9 (getting rid of it, in case anyone's interested) and I never believed I would say this, but I love it. I just cant believe how simple and easy to use it is!

the 2.4 is nice. I have a lighted keyboard on my tough book at work and it makes all the world of difference in low light. I also upgraded to 4gig of ram too, so that this computer will last me a long time.

I have the 2.0 and the only thing I want is the backlit keyboard lol. The 2.0Ghz core 2 duo is as fast as my 2.5Ghz athlon 64 in my desktop.

that's kinda how i felt about it also. if the 2.0 version had a back lit keyboard, i would've gotten that one. but i guess more storage is always better and the faster speed always helps.

can these play games pretty good?

look it up on YouTube. Get 4 gigs of ram, bootcamp windows, and play almost anything.
