Alright, I got my car setup squared away, and now I am looking for a desktop solution at work.
Again, I would prefer something that will dock with my case on, but that's my only real requirement. Speaker phone would be nice too, but at my office, personal calls out loud are frowned upon, and I don't feel like sharing that much.
My first inclination was to get the Podium. I think it's a great product, but currently does not offer something for hard case users, plus it's a bit pricey.
There are a couple others, with the Ped3 being the most notable. They actually have a version now where the "fingers" are adjustable to accommodate a case, but I am not all that crazy about the design. I prefer the minimalist approach of the Podium.
It would be great to have something that is like my car dock, something I just set the phone in and it charges and rotates. I didn't think such a device was available...till today.

Ok, it requires the case to come off, but the dock looks nice and neat, rotates for video viewing and gaming (for games that don't use tilt sensing), and it charges and/or syncs the iPhone 3G. Nice deal considering you can pick it up on Amazon for $31 and change (+shipping)

I haven't fully decided yet, but I thought that I would share this in case it meets anyone elses needs.
