Using a normal o2 sim

Can i use a normal o2 sim in a uk iphone ( not a specific iphone sim)?????

You can use it if the iPhone is Unlocked.

your phone does not need to be unlocked if your putting an o2 contract/pay as you go sim card into an o2 iphone!

it will work!

o2 offer pay as you go iphone specific sim cards, there no different to other sim cards, the plan is the only thing that differs as it allows you to get free internet etc.. but if your putting your contract sim card in then contact o2 and tell them you've purchased an iphone and they'll update your plan, as you will no doubt need it for the internet side of things!

If you put ANY 02 sim into the iPhone it will work. But they will find out eventually and will do something to the contract. 02 just doesn't want you to use any other carriers. I suggest using an official contract though.
