iPhone OS 3.0 beta2

Hi I am new at this and I got this file from a good source (iPhone1,2_3.0_7A259g_Restore.ipsw) if I do a restore will it disable my iphone. I am on a canadian carrier (rogers) and the phone is from that carrier. Do I have to do something before or I can go head and do restore from itunes use shift / restore. Please can some one help me out and I also have the QuickPwn V3.0 Beta 2 (7A259g)

Pretty sure you have to be registered with a developer to get your phone reactivated. iTunes won't do it if your UDID isn't registered in the program.

your UDID must be registered with a developer or your phone will be bricked, there may still be some developers with open spots on site some where if your lucky
