Now members can share and download their favorite iPhone Wallpapers (http://www.everythingicafe.com/iphone-wallpapers) at EverythingiCafe. Starting today, we'll start to add iPhone optimized wallpapers to the new iPhone Wallpapers (http://www.everythingicafe.com/iphone-wallpapers) section at EverythingiCafe. I hope that our members will help build our iPhone Wallpaper (http://www.everythingicafe.com/iphone-wallpapers) collection by adding their favorite wallpapers. The process for adding wallpapers is very easy.
Simply visit the iPhone Wallpapers (http://www.everythingicafe.com/iphone-wallpapers) section and then select the User Panel link at the top left.
Click on "new picture".
Type in the name of the wallpaper. ie. Jessica Alba
Select the appropriate category. In this case, 'Female Celebrities'
Browse your computer and find an iPhone optimized wallpaper (320x480).
Press Upload
Repeat process as necessary. Using the same example, let's say you had (3) Jessica Alba Wallpapers. You could follow the same directions, but upload all (3) at once.
If you have any questions regarding the upload process, categories or acceptable images, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thanks in advance for all who help to contribute.

I think we'll get some good stuff there. It took a while for me to come up with a solution that worked. Plenty of trial and error.
What do you think of the categories?

I'm doing it wrong, or something's missing right now. I don't see anywhere to click 'New picture' at all once I've hit the User Panel link. Tried in Firefox and Safari and I don't see a link to let me add anything ...

Do it from the category you want to upload from, that worked for me. Either that or Chris fixed it while I was playing with it.

Lookin' good. I vote for a "subtle" or "dark" category because that's the only type I ever use :)

You must have mistaken Music (http://www.everythingicafe.com/iphone-wallpapers/music/) for Bad Music.:tounge: (admittedly I did attend Britney Spears with my wife just last month)

is there no way to add images hosted on other sites?

No. The only way would be to upload them to our server. This allows for all the neato resizing and slideshow options to take place.

to be honest, it's quite a PITA. All of mine are already 320x480 anyway.
a bulk uploader would help mucho.

As long as you categorize them, I can bulk upload via the backend software. Zip'em and send to info AT everythingicafe.com with the subject title Wallpapers.
The system takes the 320x480 and creates multiple thumbnails. That allows for the random thumbnail promo on the right, the semi-detail view (for non-registered members), etc.

No rush, but anything you can contribute would be great.
I can do bulk uploads, but they have to be related. For example, let's say you send me 20 Prince Wallpapers, I can bulk add them. I wouldn't be able to do 20 various artists due to wallpaper title and description. Now, any group that exceeds 5 or so, I can create a subcategory.

Right click is disabled. If you are logged in, you'll have access to the download link and the magnifying option.

is there a way to add a Miscellaneous category? I've been adding wallpaper that's not much of an abstract but find that to be the best category I could use. Sorry for inconvenience... :tounge:

Put them in a folder on your desktop then sync that folder to your iPhone in iTunes.
