I actually think this is a great separate topic because it does seem like a lot of people who had MMS working no longer do. AT&T did so something I believe, since I have all the settings perfectly but it's just stopped working for no reason...

yea, i looked at the other thread and its just all over the place with different opinions, this one is just for people who went to 3.0 mms pics worked and now stopped working without any changes made. I double checked and mms is activated in settings, and i didnt do anything else, it ust stopped working all of a sudden within 1-2 days. yet i was so excited :( if anyone gets it working again please post what you did, ill try to go talk to att maybe tomorrow and see if i get anywhere with them.

Someone posted the Apple release statement saying MMS won't be supported in the beta versions in the other thread...is this thread a dead horse to beat?

Yea, i think this will continue to be a hit and miss issue until the official fw upgrade is released. obviously att doesnt want us to have it and apple isnt doing much on there end to get it working right now. Mine continues to work(fingers crossed) but i dont expect it to last.

hit or miss, but lets say you get it after you update, does that raise a flag at att and they go "oh no he didnt just txt a picture on iphone!!" and they uncheck the media txt box?? and you have to call back and try to get them to check the media box again to make it work? i dont see why else it would stop working?

the thing is that, its not a person who does it, the system "sweeps" every couple days and randomly selects accounts and makes sure everything is in check. if its not. the system will correct it on its own, or if it cant have an AT&T IT do it and keep everything working smoothly, but the system apparently hasnt been updated to "leave MMS on iphone accounts" every AT&T Rep that ive talked to (even went into a store) says that theres not really anything that they can do. And i got a pretty nice guy in the store, he checked my account, even my provisioning and said it is all good...

Its a hassle but we will be playing cat and mouse with them until the official fw is released. If u have a medianet capable phone keep switching the sim to it whenever your mms stops working. There doesnt seem to be any one trick that works for everyone so we will all have to keep trying them all and see what works. this is nothing new tho, it was the same thing with swirly mms especially if u had the 3G.

so the best thing to do is call and make them enable MMS again or what are some options to keep getting MMS to work?

I dont think calling is the best solution to getting your MMS going. Most of the reps seem to have been informed that they are not to allow us MMS access. U can give it a try but dont expect much. try the medianet trick by inserting your SIM into a medianet/MMS capable phone and making some calls or sending some msgs. then go onto the att OLAM and see if it changed yuour phone in the system. If so u should be able to change your messaging plan. after which MMS SHOULD WORK!!!! no guarantee tho.

I've done the MMS sim card switch thing about 4 times. It works. For a little while. Then AT&T blocks it again. I give up. I'll just wait. I've waited 9 months. I can wait a few more.
