Hey guys,
I've had this specific Iphone for almost a year now. I've never really had any trouble with it as far as charging, etc. But, I forgot to charge my phone last night, and eventually, as it of coarse will, it went dead. It displayed the battery, etc. So, I connected it to a charger, and nothing happened. It's completely off, no battery icon or anything. I've tried multiple chargers, and have had no luck. Any advice would be appreciated.

So you've tried different charging cords and different computers? Maybe you could connect it to your computer and try going through the DFU mode steps and see if anything happens. If not, it sounds like it's not under warranty any more, but you could take it to Apple and see what they say.

A friend of mine had this issue and it was a PITA to fix. I had to plug it into it mac and try different USB ports and finally got iTunes to recognize the iPhone. From there had to do a full restore.

Try holding the home button and the sleep button both down for at least 10 seconds...

Europea,
I have tried different cords, but not different computers. I've tried wall chargers, charging it via USB, and even my iPod dock. It's not under warranty anymore, and the nearest apple store to me is almost two hours away. I was hoping to find a quick fix, but so far nothing has worked. I just don't understand why it goes dead just one time, and dies on me. This is the 3rd iPhone apple has given me since I've been with them, it's time for the Charlie Brown "Good greif..."

Xman,
I've tried this multiple times, with no luck.

If anyone had any suggestions, pls help a guy out?

If you go through the DFU mode steps with it connected to your computer and nothing happens, I think you'll have to return it to Apple. I'd try putting it in DFU mode on another computer first though.

Would the Alternative Way listed on this page, be the best choice for me? http://limitededitioniphone.com/how-to-put-the-iphone-into-dfu-mode/
