Plugins?

Hi Guys
I'm sure i'm not the first person (and certainly won't be the last) to notice some pictures and movies won't work on the iPhone 3g. This is no doubt to do with quicktime and the movie or picture not being compatible, but is there a relevant plugin that enables more diversity on what pictures and movies you can watch?

If you're jailbroken there is one I know of for watching flash based video websites like google video & youtube.
