windows address book problem ??

Hi,

Kindly if someone tells me a way to get my contacts back. I was trying to sync my contacts with itunes and selected 'windows address book'. It asked me various things among them i rememeber was sometting like MERGE and i didnt press YES on that. Now all my contacs are gone from my iphone and i cant find any on my computer as well

Is there anyway to get the contacs back?

Ouch - Merge was your friend. Have you ever synced before with that PC? Or any other computer? If so, you should be able to restore from a backup.

If not, have you / do you sync with any online contacts mgmt service - Google Contacts or similar?

I have never sync my contacts ever. So that means i guess there wont be any backup as well for that. having said that i have tried backing it up but with no success.
