I heard the iPod is still slow but what remains? I made the jump last time but the sluggishness and little nuiance bugs was too much for me. How is the a2dp Bluetooth performance? When listening to music and navigating the iPhone I would get breaks in music. Couldn't even surf Safari without massive cutouts.

Hmmm, that's weird. The iPod app is no longer slow for me. It even starts up through the Spotlight menu, whereas it didn't in version 1 of the 3.0 beta.

That's great. I read a comment somewhere they said it was slow. No other bugs for you?

I'm sure people are having slowing down issues as there may be extenuating reasons for people having different experiences even on similar devices. People have a different combination of apps and settings so I'm sure we'll hear a mixed bag of results.

I think it's me just being picky but I would like to see the ability to scroll in a reply window on forums. Of course that's not really a bug since it hasn't changed since the iPhone came out.

The Slight work-a-round for that is to get to one side of the text window and then drag the page up and down. It's a little cumbersome, but better than now being able to do it at all. There is too much going on in a text window to facilitate regular scrolling, especially since Copy/paste is getting added.

The only bugs I have found so far...
1) Occasionaly there is a slight delay in the screen coming on when I hit the sleep/wake button, maybe a full second, most times it's instantaneous
2) A few of my 3rd party apps give unexpected results
-a) Twittilator Pro loses the top bar on the friends tab
-b) Balance...you cannot add a note, takes all the other info, but if you try to add a note, it shuts down and does not save the info you input during that session
-c) G-Map US East shuts down upon agreeing to the Safe Driving splash screen
3) Cannot force quit ipod or safari (however you can completely close safari by closing all tabs prior to exit)

I have not tested every one of my third party apps, I'll probably get around to the few I haven't opened and used tomorrow or the next day. Over all I'm extremely happy with the new version and haven't found anything yet that will make me want to reload 2.2.1.

I just ordered the Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones so when they come in I'll let you know how the bluetooth streaming works. I don't have a pair yet and I've been wanting to give it a try now that A2DP works.

S9 was terrible this past two weeks with my phone in my pocket. Calls were great but ipod and iheartradio app cut out all the time. I am hoping they boosted the power of the bluetooth (if possible) in this update or fixed whatever was causing it. When it works, the S9 headphones are great with the iPhone.

Yup that's what I am talking about. Anyone using the S9 with beta2 now?

I haven't been able to make force quit work with any app yet. Anyone else have this working for them?

Nope, like I said though, if you close all tabs in safari and close the app it closes down completely. Ipod is a no go, though.

Saw that. But force quit is a big miss at the moment as it's so useful on so many occasions :)

My iPod is way glitchier since beta 2 when using Spotlight to find music. Sometimes it will just crash before the song starts, or it will play a different song from the same artist. Beta 1 never did this.

If I send too many texts too quickly, it adds up the texts on the "sending" bar but they never disappear. Now when I send 1 text, it says, sending 1 of 6, and goes through them all again. I hope it isn't resending all of the texts each time.

Well today, I lost audio and got the keyboard lag in safari, a reset fixed it back up, there was a bit of text on the clipboard when it happened, maybe cut and paste got me.

Well I took the plunge again and things are wonderfully better. For me i am looking for the a2dp and right now the audio and performance is about as good as I can imagine you could make it. Much better sound quality.

Actually getting some distortion now on a2dp.
