Not sure what a rebelsim is but did you have to jailbreak to use it?

It was JailBroken.. but I accidentally upgradeded the BB, had to get the RebelSim, (place a sim card with exsisting sim)

So if you have to be jailbroken then you cant use 3.0 since there is no way to jailbreak it yet.

The sim should work jailbroken or not, she is not unlocked and the sim works. I think you probably can, but I wouldn't want to be the first to test the theory, just in case. There is also no guarantee that the sim unlocker will work with the new baseband.
