Skype app crashes - on oth 2G and 3G

I got a copy of the new Skype app, and very nice it looks too, but it crashes as soon as I attempt to enter my username or create a new account.

This is happening on both my 2G and 3G, both of which are jailbroken, with just the 2G being unlocked with Quickpwn.

I'm thinking it must be a jailbreak app that's causing the problem.

I have rebooted and synced both phones with no result.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Having played with this for a while, it crashes whenit requires keyboard input, not getting as far as showing the keyboard.

I think this maybe has something to do with either Clippy or hClipboard.

Before I uninstall these, I'd appreciate some feedback from anyone else who's having this problem.

Turning Clippy off in settings allows Skype to work, which is a bit disappointing.

I am finding it drops calls a lot though.

Dont worry, you wont need clippy soon, and i would imagine skype will release an update to fix the bugs quite soon!

I doubt very much they'll fix bugs related to jailbreak software!

Skype is an official app which will be updated for sure. And what i meant was you wont need clippy becuase 3.0 has copy / paste

Sadly, the 3.0 copy/paste falls a bit short of the Clippy functionality.

In what ways? I think 3.0 copy paste delivers exactly what you need. The functionalty to copy paste across apps. What else would you need to do??
