Microsoft Exchange??!! Issue here...

Hey-

So I use Microsoft Exchange Activesync protocal for my email, contacts, and calendars. (actually recently switched to Kerio MailServer activesync). But anyway, it is an amazing system except in iPhone OS 3.0 beta everything worked BUT my email kept coming down saying it had not downloaded the full message.

Contacts work
Calendars work
EMail subject and push work
but it wouldn't show the body of the emails...

anyone have this issue? anyone have a fix? im considering switching to MobileMe because of this and because it is a better service apparently... but it takes a good 3 minutes to sync read email from my desktop to my iphone and exchange was literally INSTANT.

Try google sync. Its free and it works.
Follow the directions carefully: http://www.google.com/mobile/apple/sync.html
You will need to have everything in your google account first.

tried it before....

i need push email though and my own domain. plus, im not a fan of Google's IMAP file structure, its just funky. I wish the iPhone supported IMAP IDLE (without hacks). Actually, has anyone tried it?

Use yahoo for email and google for calendar/contacts. Thats what I do.

with all due respect, i need exchange (and my domain) for business.

I wish Apple would just allow you to use a domain for email already, i know so many people who would flock to MobileMe. $100 a year is cheaper then virtually all exchange hosts with more features, 20GB on exchange is a dream.
