G1 data plan on the Iphone 3G?

Okay im new to this site so go easy on me, this is kinda longb but any help would be apreciated alot.

First off before I ask, I have googled this for a few days now and cant find a streight answer.

So I have a 16GB Iphone 3G White
So AT&T sucks, (my own personal opinion) So I went out and signed up for the T-mobile G1 and I got the Unlimited Data, SMS, and MMS
Well I used the G1 for a few days and I dis-liked it, so I returned it and I kept the Sim that came with it, since its an activated card with my AT&T number ported on to it.

So I decided that I will Keep my Iphone, I ordered a 2.2.1; 2.30 piggyback adapter for my T-mobile card. My question is, If I have the G1 Data Plan Will It work on this Iphone still?

for example If I have G1 unlimited data and I went on safari with my Iphone, Would I recieve a seperate data usage charge, or would my G1 plan cover it?
Same question for my SMS plan.

Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong.

But you should be able to use the data plan without any over-charges. If you can use T-Zones internet plan with safari, I'm pretty sure you can do what you need to do with your G1 plan.

Can anyone verify this?
