downgraded from 3.0 - Question

I am just downgrading to 2.2.1 and just a quick question. I know the baseband has been permanently updated but are there any further complications? Or shall i be able to sync / restore etc and basicall have a fully functioning 2.2.1 iphone? Will there be any other issues to consider?

Which downgrade method are you using? Things seem to be more complicated if you do the downgrade on a Mac than on Windows.

Main issue thus far - for Mac users - seems to be that you need to be jailbroken in order to get past the issue with getting stuck back in restore mode each time you reboot the phone ...

Yes, im using the mac version, but i would like to be jailbroke anyway. I will probably update to the next 3.0 beta anyway when its available, its just that this one completely crashed last night and sent me into the US app store and would let me open any apps, so ive had to downgrade!
