i have lost my ipod touch settings icon

need help

is it jailbroken? did you hide some icons with sbsettings or poof? If so you should be able to unhide them, if not...try a reset, hold home and power button down until it shuts off and continue holding until you see the apple logo, if that doesn't work...restore.
