I was thinking, with the economy the way that it is, do you all think it will be hard to sell your iPhone 3G's for the newest iPhone? Their will be a surplus of them in the market, what if there aren't enough willing buyers?

I don't think the 3G will command the same price used as the V1 has for so long. Both will drop rapidly in value when the new model is released, I would bet. But they'll still sell. Lots of people will want a cheap, no-contract iPhone.

You are right about that! Cheap is the golden word.

Hi guys.
I haven't checked in here for a while. Has anyone come up with an unlock for the 3G yet?
That's the main reason the V.1 kept it's value for so long.

One of the disadvantages of testing 3.0 is that you won't be able to unlock it, probably making it harder to sell.

i still think they will sell there are those people that don't want the newest and would be fine settling for the model before, also depends on condition
