3.0 New Features

Just a quick poll to find out how many people using the 3.0 beta actually use the new features. Or were people complaining about the lack of them purely because they thought they should be there?

i use some of them daily. i now rely on spotlight search. i also use landscape text, shake to shuffle, and copy and past all the time. besides all the bugs, i love 3.0!!

I love spotlight search, but landscape text realy annoys me when i cant see the screen!!

I had an ipod connected in my glovebox to my car stereo.
Now with 3.0 I dont need it. I use bluetooth A2DP which works great!!!!!!!!!!

i love copy and paste - so much easier than the two on cydia ( i do miss the "clipboard"- i think thats what it was called - where you could keep several things you copied.) i use mms alot - i really like the idea of sms and mms combined into one application. and i love landscape keyboard - i really needed that. shake to shuffle is pretty cool. i thought i would be annoyed by the spotlight search - but ive actually enjoyed using it.

I find myself using copy and paste A LOT. Lol. Dang, I never knew this one feature would be soooo important. :2cool:

Spotlight is where it's at. Very fast/powerful/useful.

1) Spotlight is GREAT!!!!!
2) Copy/paste not a lot but it's there when I need it
3) Landscape everything I can

Is this something new to 3.0 (maybe I just never noticed it)
I added a phone number from recent calls and along with mobile, work, fax, ect. ect. number there is an iPhone selection I never noticed that before anyone else ever see this????

That's exactly how I feel about 3.0's copy & paste - if it had a permanent clipboard, it would be perfect. Who knows? Maybe that will be an upgrade later on, or perhaps even by the public rollout of 3.0.

I have yet to use the Spotlight search but most everything else I use pretty regularly.

Spotlight is actually pretty handy because it can often be faster than going through layers of menus to locate or open something.

Spotlight's way faster than searching contacts. I will never open contacts again, actually.

Also, I want to hear the Beatles. Bam. I want to hear this particular song. Bam. It's a great way to instantly get to an artist or song.
