I have this one (http://store.apple.com/us/product/TQ045LL/A?fnode=MTY1NDA0Mw&mco=MjE1NTkzOQ), and it works flawlessly. I just don't know about the one you are looking at. The price scares me a little bit, but who knows. Maybe someone here has one and will weigh in.

they look exactly the same and amazon charges $79 for it, but other retailers are cheaper!

try to buy iPhone-ready versions of Griffin iTrip.
Although Griffins iTrip isn't really iPhone-certified. the updated versions works well with iPhone.

dont have a lot of extra cash to spend on something to play in my car right now, thought it wasn't a bad deal for $23, is there a chance it would damage the iphone?
