hi all , im enjoying my new iphone, and was lost in NYC last night, tried to use google maps to get unlost......nogood. so today im looking fora navigation program like the tel-nav i had on my AT&T TILT. that was just as goodas a GPS in your car. any help ?

G-Maps used to be in the Appstore which was the closest you can get to a full blown GPS app but they removed it shortly after the 3.0 OS announcement. Just go into the Appstore on your iPhone & browse all the Navigation apps they offer & choose the one that best fits your needs. Reading the reviews is also helpful.

G-Maps was the best bet. I thought they removed it before the 3.0 announcement. Makes no sense to hold out till the summer.

On their site it says the app is in review and will be back in the app store soon.
