Hi, I have an Ipod Touch first Generation. I connect to the internet, but when I try to play a video, the loading bar does not fill up and then Safari freezes and I have to press the home button. Whats wrong Do I need to download something and if so how?

Thanks

A link would have been more helpful. Is this the site? http://news.bbc.co.uk/
You can't watch flash videos on the ipod or the iphone. There is no flash plugin for safari (unless you jailbreak).

Click the youtube app to watch videos.
Search "jailbreak" on the forum to find out.

I purchased an app called 'iSkysoft iTube Studio for about $40 which automatically detects and downloads .flv videos. You then have the option to convert them to .mp3 (I think) that play on the iPod Touch. It works well on all YouTube videos and other sites that use the same format.

iPhone cannot play flash videos, you can only watch h.263 streamming youtube video.
