Uploading .mp4 files to iTunes

Can anyone help with this please? I can't find a way to upload .mp4 files to iTunes so I can sync with my iPhone and get them onto that??

I think the word you're looking for is importing, not uploading. File > Add to Library should work or right click the video and open with iTunes.
Secondly, you need to make sure the video is the correct format to even play on the iPhone such as h.264 encoding and whatnot.

Thankx! movies (.mp4's) are now in the iTunes library but can't get them onto the iPhone. I can't seem to be able to drag and drop. Any other ideas??:smile:

you probably need to convert them for iPhone compatibility. Go to Advanced->Create iPod or iPhone version.

They convert fine, but still won't drag onto the iPhone??

are you manually managing your music/videos, or do you "sync"?

in that case, you need to go to your iPhone options screen, and select the videos you want to sync.
