3g iphone internet

Hi,
I currently have a 3g iphone with 2.2.1 firmware, and i used an ismartphone sim to unlock it. Everything works fine, except for the edge internet for tmobile. i've entered: epc.tmobile.com, wap.voicestream.com, internet2.voicestream.com, internet3.voicestream.com and i also have data roaming on and i have rebooted it and still no edge. BTW i have it jailbroken. Can anyone help?? ive been trying for weeks thanks

Maybe you should try a soft-unlock (aka yellowsn0w).

It's on the new firmware 2.2.1 i dont know of any soft-unlock that works on it... and yellowsn0w doesn't unlock 2.2.1...

Oh. Well it would have worked if you blocked the baseband update...
