A quick question

I have used the search and cant find a specific answer.

I am wanting to jailbreak, but am wondering the following.

After I have installed apps via Cydia etc, what happends to those apps when syncing with iTunes? Does iTunes fail to recognise them and therefore ignore them, or do they transfer across in the same way purchased ones do?.

nothing will change with your jailbroken apps when you sync. it is only when you click restore or update that you will lose your jailbroken apps and then have to redo it.

So just to clarify, they will just remain on the handset, and will be ignored by iTunes, even when I select "Transfer Purchses" to transfer my Appstore apps to iTunes.
